The Partisans attack first.
Lead the 10th Brigade against the enemy outpost in Hreljin.
January 22nd 1944
The 10th Brigade, in collaboration with the anti-fascist former Soviet POWs who escaped from German recruitment, made a daring entrance into Hreljin, destroyed 4 105mm howitzers, seized two machine guns, 34 rifles and a lot of ammunition.
29 soldiers from the former USSR then joined the Partisan ranks and were assigned to different units within the division.
